Default New edision plus box, any good?

Just a curiosity if someone has got an idea if is good box. I can't understand if is a pro or cons to have a kind of combo box with one tuner only......

    Default

They do a range of receivers as follows

    1 x DVB-S2 (Satellite Only)
1 x DVB-C/T/T2 (Freeview or Cable not both at the same time)
    1 x DVB-S2 + 1 x DVB-C/T/T2 ( Satellite and Freeview/Cable combo receiver)

The new Plus (+) model uses a slightly different chipset compared to the standard Edison OS Mini in that it allows H.265/HEVC playback which i might add is currently only being used on 4K Ultra High Definition broadcasts.
The Plus model will be relatively future proof if all providers switch MPEG4 HD encoding to HEVC encoding, This could take Years to happen.

The normal Edision OS Mini is still a very good box, The +Plus model is literally just for the HEVC side
