Hey Ray Ray I see a lot of questions about the differences between the ps80 ps90 and other variation of the tool but I couldn't find the differences between the $2000 AutoProPad on AKS and the x100 pad2 pro for $900 found on eBay and other sites it looks the same and looks like they have the same functions what is the advantage of the Autopropad over the x100 pad2 pro? Why so much of a price difference? Thanks.

just recently completed:
1. Acura/Honda (sync ecu &a immo, Ariel sync) 2016 all lost smart key.
2. Chrysler ( pcm vin rewrite, wynn vin & pin rewrite, 4 & 5 digit pin read via obd2, micropad programming)
3. Ford ( parameter reset, quick reset all lost keys, door pad pin read 05-17 ,2013-16 Fusion bypass)
4. Lexus/Toyota ( eeprom virgin dumps to all models, also ready to start toyota g quick reset no 16 minute wait )
5. Infinity/Nissan( improve pin read 08/09, bypass 20 better guide on programming proxy, remote function added)
6. Gm (remote section added, pin read add new system

Voltage Detection

My question though, doesn't the x100 have those functions as well? And any hope for fem/bdc ? I read somewhere on the thread that it would be coming soon to the APP.

Also those are the same options added back in 2017, 2 years ago from when you first posted it on this thread. I believe it's post #71 Thanks

IS THE AUTOPROPAD THE SAME AS OTHER XTOOL PRODUCTS?

This is different than other XTool machines you may see on sale in other countries. The AutoProPAD is the ONLY XTool machine made for locksmiths in the US market and includes extra OBD2 and EEPROM software specific to United States vehicles. The cheaper devices such as the PS80, PS90, X100PAD, or X100 have some of the same hardware but mainly perform only the vehicle diagnostic functions that an auto shop might use. For instance, if you purchase a PS80 (instead of an AutoProPAD), you will not be able to program Nissans with 20-digit BCM, Ford Fusion without NASTF, Toyota G, Toyota H, Toyota Smart Keys, Chrysler 200 systems, most Chrysler PIN code reads, VW/Audi programming, Honda Prox, and many others

Great I was starting to feel my recent purchase with aks was a bad move when I could've went with one of the cheaper version but you def gave me some reassurance. I was having problems programming Ford vehicles with my smartbox and I decided to upgrade to the APP.
