Hi can I ask where you guys are buying id46 clowning chips for key tool? I’ve been trying to get some for a long time. 3dgroup no stock since April and vvdishop no stock.

Hello Yes have tried order chips for keytool id46 cloning chips from Aliexpress etc. But they send incompatible chips! Don’t work with key tool or vvdi2. Have contacted all supplies no joy.Where is 46 cloning chips available from from guys I’m losing loads of jobs because of this?

Are you sure it is the chips problem? There are some cars which the KeyTool cracks but can't write to any chip. Maybe you should try writing on an XN remote?
Also you can order from UOBD2, they have good chips, at least they used to.

I just checked them - they are there but it seems they are out of stock... Sorry.

Hello guys. Yesterday I tried to clone keyfob from VW Passat B5 year 2005 with my VVDI KEY TOOL and don't work. Procedure I followed:
1-Special clone
2-I was pressed each button in order suggested by tool
3-When three buttons were get I was pressed WRITE
4-In frequency adjust I had put 434.00MHz and in in BAUD I had put 502, because original keyfob had this parameter
5-Tool gaves me message Clone succesfull, but keyfob don't work.

Can somebody help me with that?
There was a problem with tool or my mistake?

I Tried To Clone Remote Control For Seat Ibiza 2015 The Key Original before clone with vvdi key tool work but after clone not work remote control How To solve the problem to come back the remote control for original key also Key VVdi Key Tool Not clone

Hello friend, I tried to do similar work, in VW Passat, keyfob is identilcally but my problem was that the cloning keyfob don't works, look my comment, and if you can tell me if I can done something bad. In your case I think the problem was you tried to clone keyfob out of reach area of the car, and original keyfob was unprogrammed. You only needs reprogram it. Keyfob cloned work?
