Why can Zedbull clone almost always unlock vw id48 chip and vvdi keytool or vvdi2 always say it fails ??????????

Only started using this tool lately after lying for a year. Updated to latest version yesterday and downloaded app on iPhone.

Can’t connect to Bluetooth it’s turned on keytool and phone not picking up device.

Tried turning Bluetooth off phone and keytool and back on etc but nothing

Any suggestions?

Try another phone. Preferably an android one. iOS devices has almost no support with this tool.

What is better choice to buy, VVDI key tool or VVDI mini key tool? Does it have any differences between this 2 tools?

You can decide, besides the old Keytool is a canceled product already.

To be honest I've bought both of 'em and use the KD X2 - at least the New one with the big screen will available. They are cheap enough to have 'em just for emergency cases. Besides the in-time-registered minis have free id48 calculations....

But ive had plenty of times where the mini wont even see a chip or remote or smartkey whereas the regular keytool sees it just fine

So id say the minis antenna is not as good as the regular key tool
Also the regular key tool does some of the calculations on the device itself whereas the mini is almost exclusively server based

So no internet no worky

KeyTool 3.2.9 global problem:
The cloned Mazda 8C couldn't start the car.

At first, I tried to clone the original chip to a blank chip. My second try was generating then cloning.

Clone to blank is wrong.

You must generate 8c then clone.

You might need to reset chip ???

Not sure of this but as you have tried something you might need to make it like before you tried.

Some time work some time no. I use only if I have access to car for try. I use the chip as they come from fuctory and I have success and failure.
