Well on the 4D ford proxy system, you need to INSERT proxy key into side of steering coloumn, it only fits original FORD remote, to emergency start. So this case, it wont work anyway
only on ID49 system was there a place to sit the key, under armrest to emergency start. which would work if you can find space for your TP
most systems smart have slots, only fitting original remote case. So for me these proxy universal keys are only good for emergency to get customer going initially.

On ID49 it generates TP automatically and its detectable with tester so not an issue. Only problem will be with 4D as there is no physical space for TP mate.
Thanks
How would you insert this xhorse smart remote into the emergency slot for the start though? Its sized for original remote
4d doesn't need transponder to start the car it just uses proxy.
Transponder only for emergency start when battery in key is dead.

Great and working
Just a bar off soft soap to make imprint off key .. cut it and then easy to make transponder afterwards
the soap ius just yto give imprint ..so you manuallly aqd the cutting code to machine

thinking of buying vvdi mini key tool can somebody explain if the free token they use everyday for one year can be used for id 48 cloning on line or do you need to buy
anything else apart from the super chip transponder to make a id 48 clone thank you.
Just heads up - do not upgrade Key Tool!!
I confirmed from few sources - they already stopped manufacturing of original Key Tool. I was stupid enough to upgrade to version 3.2.5. Originally tool was NA (North American) firmware, but with 3.2.5 firmware became GLOBAL. Some remotes are missing now (not on the list, and not in the XHORSE app either, so Mini Key tool is useless, I have it too). So if you're happy with what you have - do not upgrade above version 3.2.2 or even lower! There's no option to downgrade back to local (for example, North American) version - confirmed with some sales rep in China. "i am sorry that the GL version can not be back. i confirmed with engineer" - was reply.
Very disappointed.
Until now it was best tool to use, new mini key tool just stupid toy with SOME features of Original Key Tool.

Don't need to do anything, 1 token per day comes automatically (even though you can expect to wait more than 24hrs for 1 token to reappear). Tokens do not collect, there never more than 1 token (if you don't buy more). Don't need Super Chip either, cheap id48 blank transponder works just fine. Works for now, don't know how long it will last, doesn't look like XHORSE cares about customers too much (see my post above).

I doubt anyone is relying much on Xhorse tools for generating remotes. KeyDIY has always had the edge on this function.
On the good side for Xhorse is they probably will keep supporting and updating their first Key Tool, like they did with the older Condor machines (hopefully).
Xhorse released latest remotes database
which support more than 23 brands and more than 400 models of cars worldwide
...pls inform everybody to upgrade KEYTOOL and Mini KEYTOOL asap

So KeyTool can generate smart/keyless remotes now? OK, cool. But it would've been best if there were empty remotes available to generate those on.
