    I'm not sure what you are doing but it's not hex, save as ".BIN" using "SAVE AS"

    Thank you!! i will try.... I am actually reading all the eeprom's data through an arduino and then storing it in a .txt(or bin) file. Thanks to everybody.

    If you use arduino ,
    you should know what you are doing !!
    If you do not use a regular eeprom reader, save the file in bin. format and post this file here for the code!

    that's what i did on my last attachment, i gathered the data and saved it as a .bin file. What is actually confusing to me is the term "dump" that's why i'm not sure if what i am doing is correct. Anyway thanks to all of you, i will let you know if the code works.

    I'm not sure it will work as you haven't read it yet... someone guessing isn't decoding it...
    Just get a real eeprom reader and read the chip properly...
