Dealers here are over £200 and several days waiting time.

    I charge £120 Inc tax and cover 20 years of T4 - T5 - T5.1 - T6.
If I charged less I would have to reduce the quality of the keys, transponders or batteries to keep margins, that would eventually leave a queue of unhappy customers with problems.

£120 is fair price. much less and selling yourself short. don't do it.

As said charge decent price and you can afford the kit to do job. and earn actual decent wages.

    ON TOPIC:-

Was talking to some bloke painting a postbox, he was saying something about
”unauthorised key” on vw, where non genuine key coded, all happy, goes to dealer for anything,
plugs computer in, van turns into a pumpkin and 6 blind mice run out.

”needs” new clocks keys ecu etc to run, unless you have backup of eeprom.

was more interested in posting an envelope of dog poo to somebody that’s annoyed me.

Hey. The stores offer two options for Lonsdor K518ISE and LONSDOR K518S instruments. How do they differ in function and which device to choose? If you compare devices LONSDOR and OBDSTAR Key Master DP Plus - which device is better?

I tried many times to contact Lonsdor, to ask about K518ise. I NEVER GOT A REPLY. I bought SKP1000 with free life time updates! The Lonsdor company abadon it, NO UPDATES! When a company does like this, in my opinion we should stop buying their products.

If you have key on ignition when you want to read it’s normal. Try with no ignition
