    Default Where are the channels?

So, just got my new box.. (cheers max_gee) and bear in mind, I'm novice at this, so it will be fun learning..

I intend to plug it into the cable network I have, but until I sort out the drop cable, I thought I'd plug it into my Sky Digital satellite dish..

So, when I select astra 28.2 and do a slow scan, I only get 3 channels (encrypted I assume, because although I get to see the EPG, I don't get anything else.) Signal strength varies, but seems quite high. (75%-90%)

So far I've not downloaded any images, or installed any Bouquets or anything. I thought, I'd get used to it before I messed with it. so it has the base Neutro image on it... So Ive simply plugged it in.

    Cheers

    Hi Max_gee

Hmm. Ive set it to NIT (fast) scan on Astra 2ABD e28.2 , and it scans and does not pick up anything. It does not even find any transponders. Ive taken the input lead from a working sky system.

    Any ideas?

    Hi All,

Sorted this by the way. I searched on Eurosat 28.5, and it picked up the channels on Astra 2D.

    Cheers
