I think you moved some microswitch out of position that determins where the key is...Try to reassemble properly and i think will be ok
W169 EIS, used VVDI to program keys and when I tried to crank, nothing, then I turned off and back to crank, it cranks. I have DAS to diagnose next time but curious to know if the job caused the problem.
Customer now realizes it's acting up.
Used SMOK to read it and carefully soldered and desoldered, the only thing I can think of is either flux causing this problem or the problem was already there before.

What is the best Flux to use that would not harm these sensitive circuitry?
Kester 951 is a good liquid flux, clean residue off with alcohol.
