why password

why you put password for uploaded file.
if it is for thinks. i can press thinks for any helpfull post

There are a couple of reasons for it mate,most of which I disagree with....but that's up to the poster of the files

Off the top of my head,I can think of 3x :

1. The file is specific to a certain car or ecu( You can't really argue with this one),as wouldn't work elsewhere
2. People don't want to be giving files to their competitors
3. Files are for sale...you PM them for password,and then they ask you for money here,or get you to go to somewhere like Skype(Doesn't matter gentlemen where you ask people for money...if that person comes back and complains or reports it,even off Skype...you're gone from here)


Ideally,everything on Kaos should be open and transparent...but such is life...it's not always the case

to date they continue to put passwords and ask some members to add them on Skype and ask for money for the file.


I understand that their knowledge is very valuable. It was not easy for them to acquire this level, but the greatest satisfaction is to help.


We all know that if we put files from another vehicle in a car that is not, the result will be very bad, but you run the risk.


I hope they continue contributing as they have done, they are masters and they really continue teaching.

I like fixing things at the end of the day a thanks or reputation. I would just like to thank all the members who have contributed to solve numerous problems.
I don't post with password but yes feels nice to have thanks.
