Mercedes E Class W212 SRS A2129010700 5WK43871 Crash data sored 0 but error on dash ?

Hi all,

I see one strange problem, one of my frend take one car Mercedes E Class W212 and had low voltage and the batery car it was discharge and after charge the batery, he tell me appear on dash the simbol of airbag error in red what it not was before in dash.

The airbag is SRS A2129010700 5WK43871

I made some diagnose with 2 tools and tell me "Crash data sored 0" this mean don't have it crash data inside but apear error on dash !


The error from first diagnostic is "9BA5 There is a fault in the squib configuration."

The error from second diagnostic is "AIRBAG squib circuit ACT"

I made diagnostic at dash and tell me have one error "Can't comunicate with SRS module" !

I clear this DTC with diagnose tools and tell me the clear it was made, but the signal from dash don't disapear, after start the car the error came back.

Know some one from whare can be this error ? from some sensor or some missing comunication ?


I get the module SRS from my frend and I see some one try to open it before me, I read the memory and I post also my dump if some one can check if is some problem in dump or if is corupted inside or some one try to clear it and don't made it corectly ?

they showing 10 ohm ???

should be 2.2 / 2.3 / 2.4 ohm

check if car has these
if not configuration corrupt
reconfigure?

I see it this, but I made diagnose with anothet tool and is in the last photo all resistance are ok no value of 10 ohm and this is strange for me.

My frend go to MB service and made some diagnose and reset and tell him the module is defect.

My frend tell me now on his autel diagnose don't have the errors what had in past but the light from dash at airbeg is blink.


I reed the eeprom and is a litel diferent inside the content of dump, I think they try to clear by obd the module.

I rwithe also you dump and is not working and have the first errors at first of this topic !


I add also the dump after MB service to compare if some one know or need in future !

What mean this ? It was add in car another module for another car and don't fit corectly ?
And MB service try to made coding module on the car for fit correctly ?

Hi,did you solve your problem?Just conect Xentry with dev.Unlock srs ecu,code equipment(existing airbag)and lock ecu.

Oh I thought the issue was fixed already... dunnnia Is right then you have to lock the module. Don't ask me how to do this with Xentry. Autel does it with ease though.
