Upa usb program issue

Hey group I have a weird issue with my upa. I have never seen this before and tried messing around with it but no luck. Has anyone seen this?

This is a virus. Go to options and change
clip TOOLS
clip Options
clip hex editor
Put it like this;
limit: 25
hex group: 1
numbers line: 16
" The colors to your liking"

Thanks a lot . I wonder how that happened? I've never had a problem with the upa. I use it for 9s12 micros and it works like a champ.

Can also occur by a malicious script

Mate, I happen the same, you have upa clone, you must delete the directories of elrasoft, and install other UPA software, not the one you already have.

This is not a clone bought this from elrasoft from penko. And I don't see how it could be a virus as that pc is never online. But who knows I'm glad I got it fixed and my job is done. I appreciate you all

run regedit
(pc menu:start\run, input regedit then enter) delete this item HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ELRASOFT\UPA-USB Suite\Device Programmer 1.2 or HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ELRASOFT\UPA-USB Suite\Device Programmer 1.3 or HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ELRASOFT\UPA-USB Suite\Device Programmer-S 1.0 Depend of upa-usb programmer (s) version you use close regedit run of upa-usb programmer (s) software
