EDC7 dead MPC556?

Hi guys.

Here I've got a EDC 7.
It has a short circiut and I'm trying to figure out what's going wrong.

When I switch on the 12v power supply I get 5,6V 0,8A.
I checked the suppressor - alive. I unsoldered it and now I have 0v on the PCB.

I also tryed to increase the amperage - nothing is heating on the PCB. Well I guess it is a normal situation since it has a very good heat distribution even when you hold the pcb itself without a frame.

Is there any way to check the MPC556 if it is alive. What are the other common fails with these EDC 7?

- ic bosch 30458
- ic bosch 30519
- ic bosch 30439

so. there's a 12v short circuit.
and the 12v line goes inside the pcb.
that's shit
