First you need to reset that new used one with its own pincode. Then you need to program ECU to the Immo2, using another pincode from car.
There are softwares to read the pincode from engine ECU.

If I have set of ECU + Immobox Can I simply read pim from TMS and program used keys using opcom?

Read tms from both immoboxes so you have both pin codes. put new ecu in car with new immobox. reset enigine ecu with opcom, put original immobox in car and program engine ecu with cars original pin. Then all original keys will work and all the vin numbers will match (VIN stored in the dash aswell and I think it needs to match immobox)

I have another idea. What if I copy key data from old immo box to new one?
And this new set will be ready to go. No need to reset-program anything.

If you do it that way you might find you need to change the VIN in the dash (can do it obd with opcom if dash is made by vdo) to match the VIN immobox before car wil start.

Sorry for jump into here, I have a 2004 zafira engine Z18XE, ecu simtec 71.
Long story short the oiginal ecu was suffering of the common 1.8 engine problem. .. was getting a constant fault for cylinder 1 coil pack, even after a new coil pack fitted and all wiring checked...

New (second hand and reseted) ecu is on its way, and I'm just seek some guidance to make sure I get it right first time.
Please correct me if I'm wrong:

Fit "new ecu". (The ecu I'm going to recive has been reseted and pre-programmed to the vin and car settings, as the old ecu has been sent to them first.)

    Turn ignition on

Connect to immobiliser unde body (will be using op-com...)

    Go to programming

    Enter security code

Press programming and select engine ecu (or something like that. ..)

    Wait...

    Is the above correct?
    Thank you in advance. ..
    Hit Thanks if helped you!
    Thank You for the help!
