Default Afla 159 1.9 JTDm Bad map?

    My story:

    Alfa 159 JTDm 1.9 16v 150 hp 2007
I just wanted a map without DPF and EGR. DPF is also physically removed. EGR is OFF but is still plugged.
Went to a tuner in my country and i payed for this. I didn't want extra power!!!

The car when i left from the tuner was fully changed. As if i went with 100 hp and left with 200 hp! The tuner said is due to remove of the filter. I said to myself woow what a difference without DPF. BUT after 2000km clutch started to slip. I said ok the car had 179.000km, it's normal. Shortly after the remap (no extra hp said the tuner) the car started to vibrate when accelerating in 3,4,5,6 gear but only between 1800-2200 where the torque is at his maximum. I changed the flywheel and the clutch. The vibration didn't disappear. After 9000km the clutch started to slip again!!! Then i was sure that something must be wrong with the map. Maybe the vibration is due to the map. Now i bought mpps v16 and took down the map! Opened with ECM titanium and i can see that lots of parameters are changed! So not only DPF and EGR off.

I don't have experience in tuning so i can't be sure that the map is very bad. Or what is wrong with it.
Can someone take a look at it? And just say if the map is responsible for the 2 ruined clutches and the vibration that i still have?

    1037389889 is the remapped one
the other one is the original

    Thank you guys

Are you sure? Another tuner said that the torque is now 440nm. The car stock has 320nm. He said is far to much. 2 clutches in 11.000km!!??!! And dpf and egr are badly removed from the map also

So, ask the first tuner for return money + the money for 1 clutch and go to second tuner to do the job right...
BTW, i have a "colleague", near by me, who add power too, without customer desire...
    What a world...
    Regards!

yeah to late to return my money and for sure he won't pay me the money for the clutch. And after the clutch broke i asked him again: are you sure you didn't put more HP in that map? and he said: yeah, yeah. It's just DPF and EGR off!!!
And because of the vibration I also changed both driveshafts; left and right! For nothing! Because the vibration didn't went away. So i spent nearly 1000 EURO to solve the vibration. And changed parts that didn't need to be changed!

Beware my friends who makes you the MAP!!!!

If i have got it for free, i said ok it's free...what do you want..but i paid for it!

A tuner that is also member here and is from my country said that he will make me a good map. I will test it and hopefully the vibration will disappear.

Thank you guys..i really love this site i'm glad that if found it!

One Barbershop didn't like an other barbershop. Wich one will cut the hair best ?
Everyone do remap by himself, i make increase from 1000RPM till 5000rpm.
    Someone will begin at 1500RPM.

One thing is important, you must know what you do and make so much increase.
ACT TUNING is good remapper, when he says good tuning, so the file is good mapped. (experience more than 20 years)

I think when i post my remap files, i receive on scale 0 - 10 = -10 ( so think on barber shop)

    Wich one is good ??

    Kind regards from Belgium

Agree with you. But when that map kills 2 clutches in 1 year and 11.000km and the car vibrates like hell when accelerating is still a good map?

When everybody said that the torque of 450 NM for an original 320 NM torque is too much for a stock clutch is still a good map?

Please give me an argument that makes this map good so that i can understand it. So far 3 tuners said that the map is wrong and 1 that the map is good. The 3 that said the map is wrong gave me arguments. The one that said is good gave nothing. So?

maybe the map in essence is good but for a Kevlar clutch! maybe stage 2?

If the values in the map are increased by 30% can the gain of torque and power to be only 20hp from an initial of 150hp and just 60nm of an initial of 320nm?

The values in the map that cost me 2 clutches are increased by 30%. And yesterday a tuner said that is't normal. And it's only a small update. Huh???

    so 150hp and 320nm X 30% = 170hp and 380nm? somethings is not wright

i saw a map with small increase in values and measured on DYNO and pulls out 180hp and 380nm..and this one with 30% higher values cannot be the same!

You are right Master200, it is strange that someone say that the map is good.. But i think that you can't make damage from chiptuning (or the car is very old) correct me if i am wrong..

    Kind regards from Belgium

The car is 10 years old..200.000 km..but it is in very good shape

But with the stock file the clutch lasted 187.000km!

And after this map was put on the car 2 clutches broke in 1 and a half year and 11.000km

Tell me what could of broke these clutches if the only change that i made is the map?

    My questions remains: so 150hp and 320nm X 30% = 170hp and 380nm???

Why not put orginal file back, run it for a month, ignore DPF light when it flags up
