SIEMENS VDO CONTINENTAL - RD4 RADIO CODE TO VIN -

Hi
Any one can help me please ?
I i know all RD4 radios must be code to the VIN number
I can read eeprom 24c32 if im not wrong but...

Any one can tell me where is the vin stored in eeprom please
Then any eeprom reader co do VIN change ?

Great all working fine and i know how to code them by the VIN now
It was model RD4 Siemens

But i was trying to code to the VIN RD4 Continental and i was hearing bipping all the time in speakers
Any idea why ? Radios works fine but still bipping . Ive change VIN exactly the same like in RD4 Siemens

Changing just the VIN is not the solution, you need to correct CRC's too

Hi guys,

im trying to change the vin on this RD4 made by Continental, but i cant seem to check the checksum / CRC correct. Please see attached eeprom dump. VIN i was trying to change to is: VF3WCKFUC33538882

Wow that was quick, thanks. But for some bizarre reason i cant seem to download the attachment, despite me re-logging in continually. says something about not having permission. I can download my original attachment.

Is the CRC just the last digit after the VIN? I that case i can add it to my dump.
