Default tune in extra free channels with sky

found this on another site thought it might be handy
dont no if it has been posted here before
but its handy to have it up again for newer members who might not have found it

To add channels to your "Other Channels" option, do the following -

With your digibox turned on, press the "Services" button (near the top of the remote).

Select number 4 (System Setup), and then 4 again ("Add Channels").

In the appropriate fields enter the following (you move through the fields using the up and down arrow keys).

    this is an example

In the Frequency field enter: 10.773,

The next three fields are toggle fields, i.e. using the left and right arrows will change the value.

    Toggle Polarisation to : H
    Toggle Symbol Rate to: 22000
    Toggle FEC to : 5/6

You can view them by pressing the "Services" button, then 7 "Other Channels" (Other Channels is option 9 on Sky+ and Sky+ HD), use the arrow keys to move to the channel you want and press "Select".

When the new EPG is rolled out to your box, you will be able to access the ITV HD channel manually.

To do this, go to the Add Channels menu and use the following settings:

    11.427
    H
    2/3
    27500

    Channel 10510

The TV guide changes, go to this link for a demo. You usually get a letter from sky about 7 days before the change to let you know. they are upgrading about 20,000 boxes a week so it will also bepend on how long you have had SKY+ HD for as well, as they are doing it in order of subscription
