    Default Vauxhall Vivaro 2.5 CDTI 2007 EDC16C36 146bhp Help....

Hi i have a '57 plate Vauxhall vivaro with the 2.5ltr CDTI engine, The van was originally a automatic but has been converted to manual by the previous owner.

However, The engine ecu still thinks its an auto and hangs the throttle response between gears, it's annoying and makes for a jerky gear change. Also the management light is always on as it wants to communicate with the gearbox ecu which isn't there. I've tried variant coding with Op-com and Can-clip but it's more of a software issue in the ecu.

Does anyone know what ecu should be in it from a factory sportive model so i can get a ecu kit from eBay etc or is there a way of just flashing the ecu with a manual file?

    Thanks.
