Satellite has a lot more to offer than cable but it does require a lot of work. Your minimumrequirement would be an 80cm dish and a dm500S. If you have a motorised dish than you increase the number of channels you can recieve on your dreambox. You should read the sticky below before you think about spending any money.

You can get FTA channels on a dreambox 500s and if you motorise your dish you can then pick up FTA channels throughout Europe with a 80-90CM dish. The England game last weekend that was only broadcast on the internet in the UK, was shown live on NTV a FTA channel.

If you want to get Sky and other subscription channels then you would have to card share.

Looks like you've got a broken caps lock key too. :P

    Checklist is:
    DM500s
    Motor
    Dish
Bracket to hold motor and dish.

Forget the sky dish, it's useless unless you either get a sub or go down the CS route.
