I have DAS with developers mode , is it possible to reset the warning light of Sensotronic Brake Control (SBC) with the DAS by myself? And could you tell me the procedures?

yes, i have a Mercedes W211 E240, 2003 model, you can reset the SBC light.
i go to workshop and they said
the SBC light come on with 2 reason :
1 : you over 300.000 times press the brake pedal.
2 : SBC die.
if your car in reason 1 like my car, all you need is update the software to it via Star Diagnostic, maybe it need a developer mode, but i don't know exactly, i have a star too, but i don't know how to do it.
i pay 100$ for update sofware to SBC, i'll try to learn, it is very fast, take you about 5 minutes, when i learn success, i'll teach you.

Hi, I work in a MB workshop and I had reset the warning light from SBC many times, and I can tell You that You can't do it only with DAS, but You need a special adapter. Second thing, even if they reset it one of two failure will happen:
1. a hidraulic valve inside the block will leak and the car will have a tendency to spin while braking.
2. the pump will stop ( brushes) and Your car will be without brakes except the parking one.
If You go to a dealer he MUST reset it or replace it for free, without any excuses! The only reason that Mercedes could reject a claim for a new SBC is a manipulated milleage.

dajan2009 is right, the dealer will reset counter or replace sbc unit for 99% for free. IF MILAGE IS CORRECT.

oke here is how to
Make sure engine is running !!!

In Developer mode you need to go to Entwickelingsdaten - > ansteueringen -> Gesamstliste aller Ansteuerungen

to see how many times brake has been pressed there is a line that says: Bremsenzahler (DJ_GetBrLive)

then 1 line down there you see Bremsenzahler aktualisieren und Lebensdauerzahler F neu berechenen -> click it !
Parameter uINBR = 0
then click F3

1 line down Bremsenzahler auf beliebigen Wert setzen (DJ_SetNBr) -> click it
Parameter uINBR = 0
then click F3


then scroll down untill you see the line's :

Lebensdauerzahler F neu berechenen (DJ_CalcLiveTime)
Parameter uINBR = 0
then click F3

Lebensdauerzahler F neu berechenen und schreiben (DJ_BuildAndWriteF)
Parameter uINBR = 0
then click F3

Log out of SBC !!
log out of verhicle !!

let engine run at least 10 minutes or drive at least 10 minutes

If no coils are damaged , SBC fault code is not AKTUEL nomore
