Is it possible to unlock ID48 Megamos Magic 2 with Effi and Zedbull mini clone?

I tried the option in Effi (173 modules) "Unlock ID48" but It gives me error 9.
I am using mini ZedBull clone.

Had someone ever successfully done it ?

Any other method beside Effi and Zedbull ?

yes it usually works with type II ones tho its been a lmg time since Ive had effi open. Perhaps my memory is off.

Yes. The v5.08 can unlock the locked magic II transponder .

Have already tried with Effi 100/173 and ZedBull 5.08
Getting "error 9"
maybe the transponders are poor quality. I don't know.

in my experiance if it is ID 48 for CAN bus cars , zedbull and effi did not unlock it but older cars using same ID48 but not CAN bus cars it unlocks and reprogram it no problem

there is an unlock option in the zed bull software, but will it wipe my key\remote and make it unsusable ?

Only one way to find out.

Unlock an ID48 must be done with a pincode.
I remember Effi software is using 2 different pincodes, but if both aren't valid then you're out of luck.
But if you write some software you can easily brute the right pincode, it will just take some time ...
