Can't imagine how a patch will help in virtual reading. And if it works (amazingly) how much will it last.

You know virtual reading depends completely from server side, right? How a local patch in your laptop will allow you to authenticate in the server side???

And if by miracle the patch makes man in the middle and spoof real client credentials, how many time you think server will spend in ban "the donor"?

Call me exceptic, but try yourself the 59$ patch and come back to tell us how it goes

The russian clone kess v2 have server connection for virtual read for Toyota orig files. So Chinese are capabel of doing iT to. Maybe iT works Maybe not. Redirecting to a server with collection off originele files is not that hard. Who knows until we try
We think its just folder of ORi files but may come in handy!
Anyone with a ORI Kess could give us the folder.

Maybe there are some third party (chinese) server which will patch redirect and download from that server... if it downloads from geniue server that will be fixed realy fast i guess. Or maybe patch is coming just with some virtual read files and that is it....

Yes, the russian clones have acces to russian server for virtual read, for now Toyota, so on Vag.
But you need special versi?n Kess software (2.23_vr.exe), and after you need send id for you interface (Idreader.exe), to be accepted in server.
Chinsses sell just folder of ORI files., with the folder number, you see that files have (same kess protocol), not folder 517-toyota, etc.

This patch really works. I use it from old KESS 4.036 till 5.017 for now. Many old ECU that have only WRITE options can READ by this. Such as MM, ME and some other. NOT new EDC17, MED17, etc. This patch is for old cars.
