Default Bmw 1 series all keys lost

    Hi DK
    Can someone please help me..
I have a customer with a bmw 116 petrol 01.2008 with all keys lost.I've got the bmw multitool. Can I program a key via obd or cas on bench (without soldering) without the known isn ?
    Thank you

All can be done over OBD with good tools....
Guided fault finding = Feature that many factory scan-tools have and real technician despise it.

Price the key from BMW. No programming required. Sometimes less Hassle than buggering up the cas.

This means that I'll have to read the ecu on bench as well..

Tried to program a new key but multi tool failed.I'll probably change ecu kit and take the old one home for reading on bench.
Don't know why multi tool failed..someone else had tried to program a key before me.
Car was sitting there for a month.

from 2008 maybe CAS3+, if you don't have AVDI, take out CAS and read with a good programmer, try to add key with any keymaker, like Tango. If CAS is encrypted will ask you for ECU dump or working key, if not encypted, you only need to write new dump in CAS and is ready for start the car
