The problem was not mechanical part of ELV.
I use the original motor and original mechanical part, but swap original MCU on new pcb board and problem solved!
I think problem was in hall sensor for close position, when elv close it make some noise and motor not stop...
Mates thank you for any help

    Hi,

I am having the same problem on the cayenne. Did you transplant your MCU to a used unit or a brand new unit?

Ordered a used steering lock from Ebay (had to find hard for one that is younger than mine ) Did the exact same thing. Transplanted the MCU from my original board to the replacement one. Used the replacement as a whole. Now the cayenne is no longer a paperweight.

I strongly believe the part that failed on mine was one of them hall sensors. One gave weird resistance readings compared to the other 2. They (all 3) were the same sensors.

    Thanks for the pointers

    Not always is motor issue.
I repaired two VW Touareg and never motor was fault.
You can test motor with 12V

I have the same problem on my Phaeton 2012, is the MCU the one marked with 72334/MTN...?
Where did you get the good used unit? Is it difficult to swap the MCU?
Anyone tried placing relays (tyco v23086-c1001-x008) instead? I search it in google and found a few results mentioning the same problem: https://www.yoycart.com/Product/532789339630/

    Thanks

You can start by change relays, they are a common fault on this unit.
In my two cases I had problem on other component, maybe motor position sensor.
But always I swap MCU on another good ELV and solve the problem.
It’s not much difficult if you have good soldering skills.
    I found they in scrappy.
    Good Luck!

Thanks for replying, paskuale. I would like to purchase a good ELV but I don't know what's "scrappy" as I lived in Taiwan. I will try Taobao or ebay instead. Do you know what's the MCU model in 4E0905852E ? Just a backup solution if I ruin the original MCU...
How do you disassemble 4E0905852E? Any special tool required? I have it in hand but not sure how to disassemble it...

    Hello my friend!
Scrappy is scrap yard, where you find broken cars to sell working parts
If no scrappy in Taiwan you must use eBay or something like this.
You can’t read the MCU in this ELV, so you must swap it from broken ELV to working ELV. Don’t try to read, you can erase it and then only dealer can help you with new entire steering barrel because ELV is not sold lonely as spare part.
To disassemble it no need any special tool, only you have to unscrew the two security screw on it. You make a slit and then unscrew with flat screwdriver.
