Finally ran into a problem with it, twice. Both cars E90 with MSV80 ecus. It reads a 16-byte ISN from the ecu but when I attempt to read the CAS ISN, it gives a "version unsupported" error. I read the CAS on the bench and they're both CAS3, 0L01Y with a two-byte ISN.

Here you go. I'd just clone the ecu but K-tag gives me the MSV80 option with a MEV17.x connection diagram, LOL! I really hope they add an option to read and save the entire flash.

    Correct ISN posted below.

LMAO!! Thank you, @doctore, for you interest. After I posted that ISN pic, I wondered if it was the correct one for that CAS. Just for the hell of it, I searched the CAS eeprom for the different strings and, lo and behold, the 16-byte string is indeed stored, just not at 0x0748~. It's at 0x0BBC~ in plaintext, so I now know how to do the match. I think I previously searched for the wrong string . I love this place; was just browsing, saw this thread and decided to post my issue. Along you come, expressing interest, spurring me to check further and voila ! Thank you, sir!

    This is the correct pic:
