With CGDI, the normal process is:-
Get key info
Make dealer key
Enable key (optional)
Sometimes you need to synch elv
I'd not synch cas/dme unless there was a problem and the car wasn't starting.
I looked again at the manual
None of the instructions or windows for cas3+ came out.
I wrote in my post where I uploaded the files that I'm not good with BMW.
So please if you can, want help me to understand better where I was wrong with vvdi2.
Steps done...
Get key info
Made dealer key with programmer
Add key
Tried to sync cas-dme...
Witch steps should I do for next time.

Steps done with vvdi2
Connect, get file info, make dealer key.
Key made successful and locked, try to start car. If does car not start ADD KEY.
Car didn't started so I press ADD KEY.
Key added successfully but car didn't start so I tried to sync cas-dme. All failed and still car didn't started.
I plugged the cgdi.
The key was already programmed so I tried to sync cas-dme. Failed twice.
Then I pressed ADD KEY. Done successful and car started.
When I read the cas with vvdi prog I seen the soldering points already used by someone else. Maybe someone else read the cas in the past for downgrading and km. Car had 5 keys and the cluster was dead before I touched the car(probably from km correction).

Heheh, they updated the CG-Pro today. Hopefully the problem is fixed. Downloading a copy now and only two days left to complete the download . Maybe I ought to start a CG-Pro thread if the manufacturer is gonna continue to provide us with such exciting times.

LMAO !! This is an insane machine. It successfully downgraded the R56 CAS from 3++ then gave an "Unsupported Version" error when I tried to write the ECU ISN to it. This leads me to believe that it's present state is 2++, which will require manual editing, since the latest update still hasn't addressed that issue. So, off to give yet more feedback on their site.
Well, it's downgraded to regular CAS3+, so I have no idea why it's giving that error.

Hey. Question to users of the device. Can you invest in this device or better give preference to the device from vvdi2 ? On some sites they write that for bribor СGDI need activation for $ 30 every three months. It's true ? If you do not activate the device is blocked or loses some functions?
No. Cgdi bmw does not need paid for reactivation. I think cgdi MB does.
How can it downgrade to a version it doesn't support???
Only CGDI could do that. I've done several R56 Minis - 2 of them akl - with no issue at all.
Hey guys new here i did few cas2 and it was no problem, than i did few cas3 e60’s no problem after downgrade, and than i got a
BMW E82 CAS3+ #9389115 After downgrade no ignition even on original key , error codes

tool32 would not reset the counter, ista d would not connect since there was no ignition, fired up ista p and it seem to program cas but after it was done there was still one error code left

Opend tool32 reset the counter and car started
Cgdi would not reset the counter and yes power supply was connected as always
Anybody had this problem?
9389115 used to be unsupported by cgdi. I had to read cas with cgpro, load it to cgdi and make key.
But after the most recent update, I've done a couple of 9389116 without any problems, haven't seen a 9389115 since the update, though.
