Maybe cas after reset get actual km from kombi? Thats why you get old mileage?

I will have customer for mileage adjustment on x1 and want to know:
    - does this function work
    - does this function is safe

    Proper action is:
    - remove cluster
    - mileage reset in cas
    - mileage set in kombi
    - connect kombi

    Do I thinking correct?

Yes you are correct. Buy cgdi does not set the km to 0. After you program the kombi it will go back to old km. I have done alot. Use other tool to do cas.

    hi-tech research and development.
    Stable quality and high efficiency

BMW ECU data Reading Clone ( Necessary equipment for maintenance of auto computer)
Can Effectively solve the matching problem which is replaced the used computer after the damage of BMW ECU control unit ,read the original car computer data and clone it. Support reading, writing BMW ecu all model (MSV90 MSD85 MSD87 N20 N55 B38 B48) and other Engine computer cloning.
Successfully make up for the BMW ecu Read/write device vacancy, save you a lot of money for high equipment costs

二 BMW anti-theft ISN OBD reading (Auto Locksmith essential)
Can solve the BMW key lost data collection problem faster, Non-removal reading and writing, more stable and efficient! BMW 3 series, 5 series, 7 series, X5, X6, GT535 when Six cylinder engine keys all lost ,must have ISN code to make a key.
Yet the Similar equipment in market is much expensive, need about $6000. This device can work with Yan hua key master, Changguang CGDI, VVDI, AP ect together to match key.

This device pass strict quality inspection. It is more stable, high efficiency, easy operation. In the near future, we will increase auto computer models, such as Benz 271, Audi and Volkswagen 06J.

My neighbor has a 530 E60 with a damaged DME with broken pins and possible water and component damage. He has replaced the DME with one of same year, model and part number. Using the new functions released in 2.5/2.6, I am able to read the ISN from the old DME, but not the CAS. DME is a MSV70 working with a CAS2.

From what I have seen across other forums, there is conflict between whether to clone the original DME/push the original CAS's ISN to the replacement DME, or if it is ok to just push the replacement DME's ISN to the original CAS.

I'd like to have that original ISN as well as the replacement DME's ISN so I can try flashing matching ISN's either direction. That way I can try pushing the replacement DME's ISN over to the CAS, but if that doesn't work I can flash the original ISN back to the CAS and he can try getting the DME cloned instead. Since the BMW ISN function isn't pulling the CAS ISN, can it be pulled from the eeprom dump from the CAS key reading instead?

best solution would be CGDI to fix the cas sync error on the CAS2 unit, i may still have screenshot of P/N etc.
CAS2 is so old tech now i can't believe it isn't 100% perfect

problem is not to fix synchro, after cgdi you will have synchronize problem with all devices
they need change data reading algorythm, because after this procedure cas is near dead
but tool is cloned, so no chance to wait for there changes

What is the tool cloned from?

I know CGDI isn't perfect, but it is, in my experience, a useful tool and good value for money.

Every tool can cause cas/ews/dme/dde synch issues on BMW, particularly diesels and you need a good solution to resynch. I had a very experienced key guy message me the other day about an E91 that had lost synch using AVDI. It's nothing to do with the tool used, it's the process.

I don't even try to use a key tool to resynch ews/dme. Use a good BMW diagnostic and, more importantly, know how to do it.
