    Default Dynamic EGR

    Hi,
There's a tuning company in North America that for diesel tuning offers 'Dynamic' EGR - the EGR function is regulated by the coolant temperature - when cold you have maximum EGR and as engine warms up it progressively decreases to minimum/zero at normal operating temperature, this helps with the warm up time and reduces emissions.
I'd be interested in your thoughts about this. Also, what other EGR options are there?
    Thanks.

    Yes, for VAG.
I'd be interested in a remap with this.
They also have a 'Dynamic Idle' where idle speed at cold is increased to 1200rpm and gradually decreases to normal at full operating temperature, again reducing warm up time.

Oh, ok, didn't realise. It seems a lot of requests come with EGR off (including MIL) so it can be physically disconnected.
