W163 EAM problem? No start

Hi Guys,

I'm working on a 2004 ML350 that won't start. no starter crank.

2 Keys are recognized by the DAS with no problem. But ME (engine computer) won't authorize start.
EAM is not communicating so I bought a junkyard EAM computer. Hopefully I'm on the right track.

How do you program this computer? My xprog clone won't read the MC68HC705X32 (no communication). Should I put the MCU in the adapter? only adapter I see is for HC05Bx.

What's the best way to program this EAM? swap the hc705x32? I see other people only renew?? 5P08C3 in the engine computer?
