To renew eis you need calculate password, then paste it in the pass field, then calculate erase password, then wipe eis, after that you need to write data from the new eis or data from the your eis with pass. That's all.

I just want to know are this possible for W169, because when the original EZS from the car is damaged i must to renew one other second hand EZS (with the same part number) and after that to save in him the EZS information.


In my situation now i made keys and everything is ok. But when i need to change the eis i must to know how to do that, because i can't read the eis with cgdi mb and I can't renew it.

Hi, you can try with OBD cable.
I made that with OBD cable and GW simulator.
The yellow cable is K-line.

Other solution is:
Read the dump from Eis with Xprog.
Load the file in CGDI and make keys.

I have a problem with one EIS from W210.
I generated the password with ac adapter and made a new key but when I "Check EIS Status" no communication with the key...
The original key don't work too.
