    Hello,

    Your Key Hashes are read out correct. These are real Key Hashes.

    Key0: F42B1402327C9374 -> 0X2FFFF = INITIAL: A83292637A934A99

    KEY1: 91499FDD03B7C396 -> 0X2FFFF = INITIAL: 30C873DA5039452D

    KEY2: E5D21D6D40D2D71E -> 0X2FFFF = INITIAL: C82645E1F3AA61B1

    KEY3: 9F824104720CE667 -> 0X2FFFF = INITIAL: 94E8C3D2B5D7F4F4

    KEY4: 71300B9F56F8958C -> 0X2FFFF = INITIAL: DEAAE151AB091708

    KEY5: 6E50AF370C6F13A8 -> 0X2FFFF = INITIAL: 8F956902D1111FB5

    KEY6: 9D21A8370CB13F46 -> 0X2FFFF = INITIAL: 00F49E889AFA43D3

    KEY7: 021BAC26C91A9750 -> 0X2FFFF = INITIAL: 5397F3EA1396ACCA

    I notice the TP Hash in your screenshot .... I assume this is ECU from some DAS2b system car ....

    If this is the case, then this explains why the dealer key does not comply. These DAS2b systems work different than FBS3.

    The ECU gets authorization via Hash, this explains why your Key Hashes are all valid, however, the renew procedure for such systems works different ....

    Tell me please, does this car have a Transponder Key with WFS ?

    If yes, then please read the 29F400BB from your SIM4LE ECU and upload dump here and i will make renew for you manually

    Regards
    Jonny

    Hello.

    Yes. You are right. Car is das 2b. Didn`t know renew procedure is different.
    Car has start error on dash and not cranking. I check real time data on wsp and is saying car is authorised to start but on ecu starting is not enabled.

    I read flash today and tried to renew using the attached file. After renew I did initial startup wih das, procedure completed succesfully but car still has start error on dash.

    Can you please check if my renewal file is ok?

    Also, I opened the key but didn`t see any coil for transponder reading. Do these cars have transponder inside the key, or the immobiliser is disabled when car receives unlock signal from remote?

    Thanks

    Yes, i compared your Renew File with my file and it is OK.

    Yes, these W170 or R170 have a transponder inside Key

    Here are some pictures of W170 SLK Key with transponder inside

    Screenshot_1.jpg

    Screenshot_3.jpg

    Screenshot_4.jpg

    On DAS actual values you should see if the Key is recognized by the WSP. Also, when you insert Key and try to start the car the Hash value inside your ECU should decrement by one. You can read again ECU Hash list and you should see Hash value for the used key track has changed (Same as with FBS3) If the Hash value is the same (not changed) then i assume the WSP has not sent a Hash to ECU, therefore i would check again communication between the Key and the WSP

    Jonny

    OK. Makes sense now. I was expecting to see the transponder on board as in newer keys. My key doesn`t have the red cover where the transponder should be. I bet transponder is missing too. Thanks.

    No need to solder wires just use socket to read data.
    1. Don’t need to solder.
    2. Read data perfectly.

    If your key is be or original, but not bga, and your system isn't fbs4 you can write keys. If system is fbs4 you can write only empty dealer key.

    Hi, m8s!
    Recently I have bought CGDI MB programmer. Now I am learning how to work with it. So, if my questions looks stupid, don't throw tomatoes, please.
    First question. Can I renew the original MB W164 2010 key? I can read it, but the "Reset" button is grayed.
    Second question. I want to change ISM on MB S320CDI 2006.05 If I reset the donor ISM, can I program it to the car with Star Diagnose or must I use some other adapter?

    I can answer to my second question by myself. CGDI reads, calculates the password and erases ISM in seconds. This work can be done on bench or by OBD. After ISM is erased you can learn it to the car with Star Diagnose without problems.
    The first question is still actual.

    I could not erase the ISM (continental) on the W164 installed on the car. Reading and calculating the erase password were successful, but the ISM was not erased. I had to remove the ISM from the car, connect it according to the scheme from the CGDI shell, and the erase was successful.
