Take out terminal(+) from battery 10 min,after that put the key several times in eis and wait,i m have the same problem

S430 2003 spare. Got halfway through the data acquire then original key stopped turning eis and remote stopped working. Key was acting up beforehand though, that's why they wanted a spare, so not sure if cgdi messed up or if key just went dead again. Pulled module w220 to tried to read in circut with vvdi prog, but didn't see this 220 in the list, looked different on the layout and had different mask roms. Ended up reading original key eep, then writing to a China key, then it would read password. Calculated new key and eis turned but remote only made hazards blink only with unlock button and when the drivers door was open. Maybe should have better keys on hand or tried another slot but customer was happy with it as it was.

Which key do you use? I got some key from autokeys.us cgdi cannot even read them in IR and vvdi be key working but slow. on W220 insert key wait then turn the key with original key no issues

I forget the mask but think both chips started with D1JXX. They were also on opposite sides of the PCB, not next to each other like on the ones listed in VVDI Prog. Prog listed the mask but needed adapter and had no hot air.

Had one sucess with NEC reset, but when try to write key file, cgdi first reset nec than wrote it. Before and after that, reseting was impossible using just normal reset function. But, not a big deal, its easier and faster to use new key .
