can you use an xhorse elv simulator with this tool?

I probably didn't 3 hrs trying to get one working but it will not write the eis data it reads it on the main screen but it does not read it on the window that opens when you hit Simulator ELV it gives me an error read simulator elv failed I tried it with the one from mk3 as well and it does the same thing. Finally I came here and another user on this thread had the same question and was in the same predicament I'm in so he wrote the data from the old elv into the emulator and it worked for him and for me but it says it's not personalized so I'm assuming we're missing something.

any input of similar experiences would be appreciated. thank you guys

Got today CGDI, activated blue service with one free token, connected to OBD to the car and generated keys within 10 minutes (i have working key). Super!
On the bench cant connect to EZS without gateway. I have AC adapter and tried to do as wiring diagramm show, but no luck.
Conclution: W164 2006 A1645450908 works perfect on the car. Gateway is needed for connection on the bench.
Reset original key without problem and wrote it through IR. Central locks works ok too.

New test. W164 old. same number A1645450908 AKL, after connecting with AC adapter and choosing Without key collection i was asked to pull out and insert in simulation key more and more. It is just enough to turn simulation key as it could be turned and collection is going pretty fast. No need gateway to do AKL, but couldnt read it through OBD without gateway. So after collection - made a calculation wtithin 5 minuts, and i have key files for this EZS. This is my second success with CGDI.

I was gonna say. I've done it with AC adapter without gateway AKL no problem so I'm glad you figured it out

Yep, I do

Its a little bit strange, that it is possible to do akl without gateway, but it's impossible just to read without it with existing key))

I tried a MB B-Class W245 year 2010 and I could not open the "open file/write" button after I read the orginal remote with the button "read key/chip" in the "read/write key" menue. What did I do wrong?

I made the key with Zedfull with the bin file, buts thats not what I want.

when you are ready to write the new key you put it in press read and then activates the open file option

Yeah, I generated the key file, went to the "read/write key" menue, put the original working key in the cgdi, read it with the "read key/chip" button.... then nothing. Not allowed to open the "open file/write" button. No popup.

What do you want to do with original working key? I did reset first, with NEC adapter. Then put it to CGDI, read, and when you see that reader key is new and unused, only then write option become active. At yours screen you have used status. You can't do anything with it.
