If it corrupts the software why do cgdi programmer have this function on. What is best way to sort this out please

CGMB able to read and backup gateway(W204), but not able to write.
the support said need to use CGPRO.~

I've also tried collect mileage with CGMB, it flashed soft canfilter into CGW, but it doesn't work and give me 999k KM
end up I've flashed CGW back with factory firmware, correct coding etc.
To correct mileage without canfilter canblocker, need to reset DAS (drive authorization). (you need C4 and coding knownledge)

I know I can order but have to wait around 10 days for parcel, I got w205 to do only for this weekend

You also need the fbs4 activation, it is not free. €266.98 for activation
Be aware that not all clusters are supported.!
There is a list, before not advertised by the cgdi shop.
Software in the tool, states years covered. Even if age matched, hw sw numbers wil need to be listed.

They did not want to pay these extra costs.
Then it took a few days before the activated the option.

Now the fun part, it is not working as advertised.

So over 300 euros wasted,
Leaving it up to paypal.

Support from cgdi itself is good,
Shop cgdi, not okay. Not reponding to problems,etc

I don't think CGDI will share the circuit diagram, or if anyone brought the adapter will share it.
but you can try send whatsapp to their support.

What do you mean vin don't recognize ?
CGDI can't show your vin from your file ?

Don't understand why read with vvdi ... then load to cgdi to calc key password...
What are you doing ??
Read in CGDI then do Compute Password, that's it !
Or, read with VVDI then do Password Calculation in VVDI!

in this format he does not understand where the password is in the dump !!!
Copy the password from skc and paste it into CGDI. Save the dump and then count the keys. Good luck

today a made key for a 2002 w211, new key was working and old key stopped working.
support told me to perf hopping code repair, i did this like the manual says.
i tried to calculate erase pw and i get message like could not find erase pw.

support gave me pw and i tried to wipe eis, i get error during wipe eis.
but eis is not activated anymore, when i tried to activate it again it gave me error also.

so my problem is i need to activate this eis again but for some reason cgdi refuses to do this.

is there another option (maybe if i read this with a programmer or some other way?

Try post your screenshot.
If the EIS not activated, it is still able to write VIN and EIS data. (maybe)
Post your screenshot, provide all the details (you can cover the vin and key code for privacy)
instead of just said cannot do it cannot do that with error.

For some reason I can't write data back into eis, is there another way to activate this eis?
Can I do this by programmer?
