You should speak this out in the beginning.
CGDI not support FBS4 (eis ecu tcu),
And no offline cheap solution for FBS4.

    W204 2010

    I programmed a elv emulator.
Activation in car failed. Bad car battery.

After bench setup, i programmed the elv succesfull.

Reinstalled in the car, ESP dtc 6301

6301 VIN in control modules N73 (Electronic ignition lock control unit) and N30/4 (Electronic Stability Program control unit) are not indentical.

I checked the esp, and the vin whas correct. Also the vin in the ezs whas correct.
Hopefully it will clear, after a long drive, recharging the battery.
The car is advertised, to be sold. They do not wnat to spent any money.
Costing them a elv. And likely some online MB esp therapy

With Xhorse key, if turn off engine without pull key out, can you start car engine again ?

Did a w203 2002 C320 AKL tonight without removing eis, but couldn't get AC adapter to work in the setup. With adapter out, would read data, but had to insert simulation key 400 times. Should it have worked with AC adapter and not have to insert key over and over?

I did one a couple weeks ago on desk and all was OK.
I did it by ac adapter very quick job, I am not sure but this type maybe possible by IR which is really save and fast.

You sure you had it wired up properly switched properly and powered up?

No I'm not, but will keep trying, sounds like it should have worked. I left the simulation key in eis when trying different ways, fast mode, slow mode, toggle switch on obd or platform. Then I took adaptor out and tried slow mode and failed, tried again and had sim key out and then put in when it asked and it started reading. Thinking that may have been it and settings should be toggle switch on obd and read mode on slow in software. I'll keep trying though thanks.

Thought it could maybe work without taking module out to do on bench. That 2002 c320 in a pain to get out looks like.
