Use second hand original key. If problem still remains then problem is not in the key but in the CGDI tool you use.

Hello to all forum members. I have a question for you! The manufacturer sells cgdi mb by default with English and Chinese. My language is Russian and when the device is connected, it changes it automatically to English. I can use all languages in the device except Russian and French, if I'm not mistaken. Each language they sell for $ 100. Who is in which country and which languages can you choose with your device? I think it's all done officially.

I have problem to write emulator esl in w204

Emulator is mk3, always i did that:

Read esl, get password, instal emulator, load dump esl and write to emulator.

Now i got error cannot read/write check kline cable but all is ok.

Write like normal elv not in elv emulator menu.

The cheap mk3 emu don't work with emu menu

Install that mk3 emu., plug the yellow kline to ESL connector,
Try read ESL, if success means your connection is good.

Read EIS, paste key password (assume you already have it), save EIS data file.
Goto ELV(ESL) session, pick W204 as ELV type,
load EIS data file that you've just saved,
Click Write ELV...

That what I did, this ESL emu seems good.
But time will tell if it is durable.

hello all.
i need your assistance!
i am considering buying cgMB but i need some clarity...i am deciding whether to buy cgmb or to save a bit longer to buy vvdi mb tool

1. i understand that cgmb does not do bga keys...so let say 204 until what year does it support?
2. also i see a lot of guys looking for passwords that the server failed to calculate on this forum.... how often does it fail? 1 out 0f 10? 2 out of ten? more?

1. What kind of BGA key you are talking about ?
If it is NEC chip BGA key, both CGDI and VVDI can do it.
CGDI and VVDI can do all FBS3 key, I guess it is up to 2014(2015?),
or you can say it can work on all W204, but not W205 and newer.

2. no one can tell, and who knows ?!
actually CGDI support said that if password calculation fail, you can send them the data to help for calculation.

some of elv emulators from mk3 not work to write it
must use kkl interface and emucheck from mk3 !!
