Yes, it takes about 1 hour to calculate on the desktop.
I tried it in the car but I couldn't find the steering lock. I think it's on top. But removing the ignition takes 1 minute. I removed it very quickly. This is the easiest car I've ever disassembled.

Removing ignition from W204/207 takes 1 minute? Maybe if you have already steering wheel removed? Please tell how you did it

PS. Yes, locating ESL plug is kinda difficult for the first time if you do it on car.

That 1hr is just collect data for calculation, no calculation is done in that stage.
For key lost just follow the steps, insert and remove emu key... and wait...

If you just program new key, you don't need to connect that yellow wire and no need to deal with ELV.
It is at the end of steering column and not easy to reach,
and it should be in locked state.

Your connection is funny, no need to connect yellow line, it is for ELV program erase etc.
but you are doing EIS, that yellow line is useless XD.
Study the documentation you will see what is it.

Btw that yellow line need to connect to ELV (steering lock) data pin,
but you just connect it to the plug, what are you thinking ?

Keyless MB key is a bit tricky.
What keyless MB key you have brought ?
What car you are going to use that keyless key ?

hello I made a 2012 model vvdi keyless go key for a mercedes s600 and it worked directly
glk 200 w 207 ezs But master I want to ask something. I tried so hard to read this ezs but it didn't work. The device kept telling me to connect the thinnest cable to the elv kline and it didn't calculate but when I connected the yellow cable here something changed and a blue mark below continued like % 1 % 2
Maybe there is a fault in the cable

W204/207 EZS with CGDI requires connection to the ELV K-Line. ELV must be disconnected and the yellow clip connected to the K-Line of the ELV wiring. This procedure is not great as you have no control over EZS power with CGDI in car. Remove the EZS and perform the keyless collection on bench with the power adapter board and the wiring in the application. It will take approximately 20 minutes and then at the end upload the data to calculate the password(another minute or so)

No need to connect ELV kline.
In only work on EZS things, data collect, program keys, erase or program EZS etc,
no need to connect kline, it is not required in CGDI MB,
    no need to disconnect anything,
everything can work in car or on bench, even working key exist or all keys lost.

what cable is that from ?

GLK EZS is just same as W204 and preFL E coupe(W207), just the part number and the software code is different but the plugs are the same and they are working the same.
Actually I have replaced mine with W207 keyless EZS.
I just test erase and program the EZS on bench make sure it is working,
then replace the EZS and program it in car, because need to read the current EZS data etc.
No ELV kline cable need to connect at all.
The kline is just need for work on ELV, the steering lock.

About keyless MB key, CGDI has 3 versions of it as I remember, VVDI has at least 2 versions... (the circuit board, not just the key software)
The newest version (CGDI and VVDI) work good in W204 W212 W221 ...
the older version may have problem on benz after 2007,
the oldest type works for other benz like CLK? old S-class?... I forgot.
Because keyless key is communicate to keyless module before EZS, and different Class has different module,
so keyless is tricky work with aftermarket key.
Maybe you need buy different keyless MB key and try ...

    Your cable can be ok.
But it is double the price of what I have.
Have you try work in car ? just connect OBD to CGDI.

Yes, it said to connect the K line there too, I disconnected it and brought it to the workplace, I couldn't see the steering lock there.
I don't think there will be a problem with the cable. Now I have a w 210, I fixed the key but I still can't get a pass
So I plug in the emulator with a cable and the key turns but if I say collect data, fail read ezs
I read without password ezs but it is useless, there is no pass, I think this w210 needs to be removed or it reads with wwdi

Well, what EIS you are dealing with ?
    Previously you said GLK...W207... !?

Anyway, W210,202 need connect Kline (OBD pin1),
you can try all key lost connect, work on bench (not in car), no need to connect ESL or emu.
