ok, but it worked for me.
In their approach, but you have to make the ELV virgin and not just repair. but that is not a problem with cgdi.
But thanks for the hint. How do I recognize a dealer EIS?
what is the difference?

what is the difference?

down in the litte box that confirm the status of eis it shows dealer eis !! if is biffed thats meen is dealer eis and you cannot rewrite back

and elv is simple to do

if is used elv

just calculate erase pass

and erase it

after that load the eis dump with pass

and write the elv

after you have succes writed elv

to activate elv just insert a working key in eis and wait few seconds to hear the elv motor

thats it all!!

OME MORE TIME I SAY "DONT ERASE EIS TO PROGRAM ELV USED OR NEW " just read the eis calculate pass and write the elv with the dump from eis !!

ITS VERY SIMPLE !!!

IF ANYBODY NEED INFORMATION HOW TO MAKE SOMETHING WITH CGDI MB JUST WRITE TO ME HERE OR WAPP GROUP CGDI !!!

is mentioned the situation of change of eis if is akl situation !! all the eis w164 and w221 until 2009 if have nec mcu inside you cannot make akl !!

this is the important update and premiere in cheap tools from cgdi !! not even vvdi mb not do akl on this tipe of eis !!

in conclusion is a good news !!!

my cgdi can't connect to w164 EIS on bench - I have got gateway emulator but need to make proper cable for it, could You help me with wiring diagram ? - I know that aliexpress has got nice kit of cables but cant wait a month or so for delivery

I have got XHORSE Power ADAPTER with direct cable for W164 ( like this one: http://www.xhorsevvdi.com/wholesale/...connector.html )
but it doesn't work with CGDI - i noticed that this adapter doesn't allow to pass power and data when connected between cgdi and w164 EIS, seems to be useless for CGDI owners for now. That's why I decided to connect ordinary gateway emulator but need connection diagram to build a cable.
