Hello P1et,

Have you tried, activating the key, using the eis password.?

Last week, this car came back, W204 with computing data in screen.

So i now renewed the eis, using cgdi.
Then the odometer jumped up about 200.000 kilometers.
Car starts.

The computing data, whas still there.
The owner, had only 1 key left from the 2 i made before.

So i made a new, inserted it in the eis.
Not working, i could turn it in the eis, but no dash came on.

Except the remote did worked.?!?!?!?

So i activated this new key, using pass from eis, and it started the car.
Still with the computing data in the screen.

(I am getting me a used eis, same numbers, and will program that one in.
I came across another W204 yesterday, with dealer eis, how comen is this? and will there be a solution for this from Cgdi?

You will need C4.

I changed the infrared diode to a new one and found that it is too sensitive to the light source. If a lamp shines on the table, then the self test does not pass, also in bright sunshine. What do you advise?

This is normal, even with gen 1 infrared.
The light, will shine treu the red plactic cover.
Not the space between key, and cgdi Ir insert.

Cut a mask, and place this over the device.
If this works, place this mask inside the cgdi itself.

About your question, you need C3 or C4, and should have some knowledge using DTS or Vediamo.

Maybe it's helpful for somebody...

Mk3 Emirateskeys...
W204/W212/W207 ELV Emulator...
Like on the picture shown...

With CGDI SW Version 3.0.2.0 are not longer WORKING and or compatible...
You can still read them 100%...
But writing not possible, failed...

I tested alone 6 of them on three different cgdi HW, with SW 3.0.2.0, always same result...
On older SW Versions it should still work longer...

Same problem is with actual AVDI SW.

Mk3/Emiratekeys know this problem, but until now they don't want exchange advertisement and or description.

Dont choose write emulator, choose write normal elv.
And use bench setup, to write these if in car fails.
