PEUGEOT CITROEN RNEG - doesn't work - how to reanimate ?

RNEG from 2010y. maps on SD.
Display shows only "System check in progress. Please wait and do not switch off the engine for 25 min."
Engine can run even all day and system won't start.
In firmware R50 we can find folder EMEGGENCY_KIT with files to load it up, even with instruction in PDF.
But there is no instruction how to connect to mainboard. RNEG mainboard has plug on edge.
I'm sure we can do it with RS232 but I need pinout to mainboard plug...
Does anyone can share solution?

On firmware CD is folder "Emergency kit" with TUTORIAL in PDF. All You need is:
1. USB RS232
2. TUTORIAL which is on CD
3. TerraTerm terminal which is in Internet

All You need is firmware, which You can download from NET.

im trying, but i dont know what im doing wrong, i can do comunication with radio, apear rneg script, but i can ZR, is always says erasing....

Hello
Many people as me in France have a specific trouble with the RNEG 1 (harman Beker) unit and some others have also this trouble with the RNEG2 (Magneti Marelli): these units are working well but reboot at regular intervals (every 30 mn for mine)
I can understand that the trouble comes from a eeprom being corrupted (why?... no idea as I am just a normal driver)
Repair consists probably in re writing the eeprom after clearing it (I am not sure) but costs a lot (600 Â€ through Citroen network and that is unacceptable for just flashing an eeprom)

Does anybody know wether using the Reanimate Your RNEG procedure found on the update firmware files would solve the reboot trouble?

I thought as you that the update could help but unfortunately after updating the firmware the undesired periodic reboot was still there.
I would like to try to investigate through the serial communication but currently i am not able to understand this kind of programmation ..

why the rneg does not accept the update ?

Hello, I have a problem following the update of the firmware R50.3 which did not go through. I performed the manipulation to reanimate my rneg, but I can’t send the file "install_rnegd.ifs" by ZModem in Tera Term. In Tera Term I have this in loop :
