I can understand that the trouble comes from a eeprom being corrupted (why?... no idea as I am just a normal driver)
Repair consists probably in re writing the eeprom after clearing it (I am not sure) but costs a lot (600 € through Citroen network and that is unacceptable for just flashing an eeprom)

Does anybody know wether using the Reanimate Your RNEG procedure found on the update firmware files would solve the reboot trouble?
Thanks for your suggestions or now how
hi, did you ever find a solution to the regular reboots?

hello friend what brand is it? magneti marelli? You have to remove the sd card and format it or put a blank and if you want I will give you a repair file, which is done through the usb port

    Hello
i have problem with my rneg
I want to restore the old original software and here are the questions:
    - how to connect the radio to a laptop?
    - during the recovery, the radio is to be connected to the installation in the car and to do everything on the engine running?
    - which files should be uploaded to the radio?
I have done an update of the Peugeot 508 in my Citroen C5 X7 software by mistake and therefore the wheel on the steering wheel does not work and it does not have all the functions available on the on-board computer display (turning off the automatic handbrake)

I am asking for tips and possibly an answer whether this method gives the possibility of restoring the old software.

    Hi to all
is this software/hardware only intended to revive dead telematics or can it be adjusted somehow? I'm talking about powering the antennas when, when powering both branches (AM/FM1 -FM2), it tells me that the AM/FM1 branch has no power, although both are enabled and the current goes there. It happened to me with two radios even with the cable antenna disconnected
