I bought a this ecu from scrapyard for sale, I made it immo off but ecu stop working in few seconds.
this ecu is from an crash car and has DTC stored : 18017 P1609 Crash Shut-Down Activated ,
I think this is the reason why ecu stop working, I cant remove this DTC ( on bench) because I do lose communication with ecu.
can some clear it ? other option is Ori eprom dump.

p.s. I tried it wiht ori file from fox 1.2 ( different partnummers) , dont get P1609 any more but I get DTC engine blocked by immo
while adaption 10 -->channel 91 = does show 1 ( immo off )

DTC are stored in eprom or...?

Dear Friend, your file is OK.. diagnostic show immo off,,,, but ecu turn itself still off when I try to remove DTC codes,
Im looking now for ori dumps of 29f400 + 93c86 from other simos 9.1 ( 1.2 engine)
