If you buy a box that you have absolutely no idea about installing than it is probably because you saw S*y on cable and thought you could use the similar box on S*y satellite dish. Have a read of this guide and come back and ask questions about the parts you don't understand;

Thanks for your reply i have bought it for UK television? Your help to set up would be appreciated.
You wont get sky on it if thats what your after. Sky is not available on satellite like it is on cable.The only way you will get any channels is via card share. Google cardshare because talk is not allowed on here.
Actually i am after all asian channels if i can get it but the problem is i have bought it but i dont know how to start it as first time
please guide me.
im afraid its very very complex, all the info needed is on this site, if you still cant understand it after reading it, then, you may have to look at getting rid of the box.. The asian channels are mostly encrypted, therefore they will not unlock without either a valid subscription card or via CS, which i don't recomend for you..
You need to be able to:
Flash images from your PC to your box via a null modem cable
Make you ISP IP static via a DynDNS account
Home network your Dreambox to your PC
Use different software inconjunction to transfer files
Input linux code
