Yeep i got Kess 5.028 from Russians and only works Ksuite 2.34 and 2.47 from him, but is not the same ksuite which work with 5.017 clone.

Hello Guys,
Does anyone have the SD Card Files for this version (5.028)?
I read in some other places that its possible to upgrade from Firmware 5.017 to 5.028 by just swapping SD card file. No need to change NXP chip...
Honestly i don't know if its true or not, but i would like to give it a try on my Kess 5.017 (Clone).
If anyone would like to share these file, i would be very thankful...

I think is wrong info. Protocol files are coded by an algorithm only for a certain version.
If protocol files different for 5.017 and 5.028, then you recive error message.

Honestly, i´m very newbie at this ECU mod / working with kess.
I bought my Kess V2 and K-Tag in January, and i´m just starting to learn things out...
I need to rework my Kess to make sure it works ok, although i had no problems reading/writing my Mazda 3 2015 ecu.
Only have one problem reading the ECU on my other car that is supposed to have ME1.5.5 protocol, but can read ecu...

About improving the SD card files, where can i download files and tutorials to do this? Can you point me in some direction?

Hmm i can try/experiment with this.

I got kess 5.028 and know how crypt and encrypt cards and do reworks kess and ktag (if i brick nxp i have spare nxp chips to change, so coast my risk is £12 plus time) can you share me on pw link for this upgrade info.

Stardard. ME1.5.5 is not readible via obd. works ID but dont read... only bench

i need to check were did i read that, but for what i remeber, i read that by just changing the SD card with New Firmware, it should work...
I will try to find this and will send you the links...

About the ME1.5.5, do you have any info on how to read in bench? already tried to read directly in ECU, but with pin connections. not directly to PCB board/chip...

No. i tried several times / methods with no luck...
I even bought a Special PCB Bench board to connect with OBD connector...
Because i´m still learning, i dont know how to use all tools i bought, because i have cables, and i think i have the bootloader connector but i´m not sure how to use it properly...
need to search, try and discover to see if i can read/write on this ECU...

If ver. 5.028 is modified ver. 5.017 with only changed protocol files, then maybe it will work. But I do not think that it so.
You will not be able to find firmware ver. 5.017 and 5.028 in public. You have nxp with 5.028 firmware (£12)?
You can send me or to a forum an image of SD card and i will tell you without experiment whether it is necessary to do it.

Hey. For £12 is NXP 5.017 not 5.028.

True firmware 5.017 and 5.028 is not available public, only ready programmed NXP 5.017 from aliexpress example for £12

I means i have kess 5.017 clone and 5.028 from russians.

I can make copy/backup my card from 5.028 put in clone 5.017 and have a look what heappends.. if from unknown me reason i brick nxp 5.017 how i said will be cost for me new nxp chip and time to solder of this.

I will share you in PM link for image 5.028 or you want files after decoded? I know how deconing image to files
but in sunday evening or monday afternoon

OK. I know algo coding SD Card too, and maybe image file will enough. It is also good to receive CID number SD Card, but it is not obligatory.
I also know algorithms coding protocols in all older known for me version firmware KESS and KTAG, and all algorithms is different.
