Trying to do modual initiation to a ford custom 2014
ecu damaged and trying to change to used ecu
says might take 5 hours
stops every 2 mins
dash freeze
Cleared and coded 2 new keys but with ad
abrities fails as per normal

any idea what I need to do here
or is it just ids that can do this

Check the BOOT software number of the bcmii if it ends in AC then its 5 hour process ,, if different number than AC use transit connect to do pmi
IDS wont do PMI now, needs to be done online through ETIS .. and sometimes it wont let you add use unit any longer .. They are removing
used module PMI from etis and FDRS .

with the du software you use the transit connect to do pmi, but if its a sid208 ecu it will probably fail, only success i have had with sid 208 is etis online

select focus 2011 on, do module init with net connection, may need to do twice, done a few

At this stage no tool support direct immo data read. Change mileage and read e2 with programmer. Load it to smok as Skey and get full access or when you know location from Skey in flash compare e2, put Key from e2 to flash and e2 and decode data.

Any one of you manage to read MSD80 on bench with AVDI?
I will appreciate any help. Its a E60 with no keys and need ISN from DME to finish a job.

It is better to program the key online. Synchronization DME and EWS do no do online, it does not work. Do it offline and car will start.

Checked the homepage, latest update 2018.12.21, same for my ID on the official download page...
