Avdi failed to pull the CS for a late 2011 Vw Passat Cc, Diesel, id 48 dash key type, tried manual, and auto, after 10 minutes, it was saying can't detect type.

    I have the same problem.
I have never get Avdi (or Autel either) to work on Passat B7, only on early B6 by OBD. Maybe some have a idea?

NEW IN THE LATEST UPDATE OF THE ABRITES SOLUTIONS FOR BMW

    • July 1, 2022 17:30

We are happy to inform you that our team has made significant improvements in the BMW key programming procedure for FEM/BDC/CAS4 and we have added many new supported versions, as well.
With the upcoming updates, you will be able to access the key programming functions via a new menu, called EWS manager. Thus, the procedures is more easily accessed and managed.
This menu represents a redesigned key programming procedure for FEM/BDC/CAS4. The redesign facilitates your work by having to read the FEM/BDC memory only once with your ABPROG in the beginning of the procedure. This improvement saves time for you and your clients.
Stay tuned for more news as the updates are coming! Meanwhile, check out all Abrites solutions for BMW in our online shop

with mine i cant remember now exactly , but seem to remember it crashed when selecting key learning and rather than open the learning screen it just went back to menu

    Hello, Sir,
Please note that the procedures for the FEM/BDC unit have been greatly improved and is not much easier.
What is it that you want to do, which you think is missing, I cannot understand exactly what you are asking.
If you want to exchange FEM/BDC unit, you can do it trough the EWS Manager function.
For further assistance, please consult your delaer MK3.
    ----------------
delaer MK3 NO ANY ANSWER !!!!!!!!!! only tell me you need to SPS (SUPPORT PLAN SERVICE)!!!!!!!
I think AVDI company will not last long and will fail.
Because Chinese companies have support services and after some time they get new technology at a lower price

abrites have required a support plan for a while now , either via your distributor or via an sps plan direct from abrites. they wont give support without a support plan.

in fairness most chinese support is slow and poor , many other tools now require you to pay an annual fee for support including advanced diagnostics , zedfull etc as support is time consuming and has a cost so they charge for it , and most of the support is very poor even when paid for as often done by an office bod at a distributor rather than from someone that knows the job and product , abrites i have a support plan , ive used it a few times only but everytime i needed it the support ws good and the issues resolved quickly , so it paid its way for me and i do get someone who knows the tool and the job advising me .

back in the day support was free , but back in the day there wasnt as many unskilled users which has increased the time needed for support , thus they now charge for this , at least if you dont need support you dont have to pay for it

the days when guys like us had free support and we spent a good few thousand every year is gone
no incentive to spend money on this tool now
    that ship has sailed
    still many bugs like always
they seem more interested in the diagnostic side now

which most tools will blow this out the water anyway on that side
nobody i know actually bought this for a diagnostic tool??

been a very long time ago when they used to give it first in the world............all third party copy stuff now

true it no longer holds the distinct advantages it once did , but its still the tool i trust the most on quite a few makes and model , fca and psa its been the best tool by a clear mile .

luckily i got payback 10 fold whilst it still held those advantages , i still use it daily and its still often the go to tool, despite advantages being fewer than they once were for sure , it still holds some advantages.

they still have little regard for their old customers which still grates , everything aimed at new ones , though they are all guilty of this.

whether the future is abrites or elsewhere , for now i still trust my tool, but who knows what the future holds

you don't know what's going on at Abrites company. ? They give out licenses for free. That would be a new business strategy.

the ones that we paid for
    brilliant idea again
yet another reason why we gave up on them and invested in other tools
