Me 2 in past but pay attention that older version working with old firmware version and since Avdi updated to new firmware sometimes you will face problem with compatibility and the results will not be good. Especially in online software must have the last version if not at least the previous of last.

HI everyone,

I just added FN019- Pin and key manager for Fiat / FCA vehicles to my AVDI, i do not have many FCA vehicles in my area but i do get asked from time to time for lost key jobes on older models!

Yesterday i had to attend a 2006 fiat Doblo 1.3 diesel AKL, unfortunately i was unable to pull the pin code from the ECU MJD 6F3.D4 due to a missing licence, this in turn prevented me from reading the BCM Delphi (pin code needed) so i ended up doing key by dump.

i have a couple of questions if anyone would be willing to answer please.

1. which software would i need to read pin from engine ecu, i see on avdi site FN014 and FNO15 will one of these display the ecu pin?

2. is there many models that you need to read ecu pin, is it worth having?

doblo with avdi , you may get licky under key programming to read pin etc , if not then its straight forward procedure ;

1) read channel 10 from main list , this will id exactly what engine ecu you have , lets say its IAW59F

2) go to config data in special functions , scroll down to IAW59f and read , once read it will display the pin code for you , make a note of this .

3) now scroll down to 93c66 ( requires pin code which you have ) and select this , enter pin and read

4) save file to pc

5 ) go into transponder maker , enter vehicle details and load the saved file , once open you can precode a key from the dump

6) once the precoded key is made you have 2 options

a) you can save amended dump and write this back to the car

b) you can go to key programming and program the new key to the car

Today failed to get comms on a 2015 ford Ka,spare remote, none of the delphi bcm's got connected, finished the job with smart pro around i minute,unbelievable.

never had an issue on these with abrites mate , be interesting to know if an issue with last update or if just an oddball.

abrites only let me down on 1 grand punto , just kept returning unsupported bcm , done loads before and after , only happened once and vag tacho did it in a minute

did you try going config data way and reading dump ? or battery reset and try again ?

Yet again with AVDI shit hit the fan.
I don't make much Ford's here so i didn't buy any extra license only licenses that came with AVDI Full back in 2013
Yesterday i got on Focus 2008 AKL and surprise - No License on my AVDI (i made a couple of them in the past - AKL,sync, etc)
Send email to AVDI and got this response:

I need to inform you that the support via email is not available since April 2019, we are using this email address for feedback emails only and is answered with lower priority.

So i must pay to report their bugs in the software. Car is sitting in my garage and i'm waiting for response "with lower priority"
I hope this is only a bug in sw after they combine multiple licenses in one for Ford, otherwise seems a court case.

if used to work then it should still work , maybe ams and updates will get it working again on these . though avdi has always been hit and miss on ford , though is much better now than it was and has saved the day more than once.

do you not have another programmer with this old ford coverage on it ?

it's the same with me , after the last update sw key not license activate they sent another sw for ford same problem send another email to Sebastian no answer never even I stopped sending email they don't want to answer anyway , succes .

These are the ones you have. I really cannot guarantee that a function from 2013 has to work. If the software says the car is not supported by FR004 than what can I do more?

Seems that they don't give a shit about customers.
I will have a look how can i open a complaint in BG or EU.
