Default 5.0 tdi EDC16U master and slave

    Hi,

In some days I will be doing VW Phaeton 5.0 tdi V10. Soft is not a problem, typical EDC16U, but the question is how to read and write it ? I'm planning to do it via OBD using kess, but I wonder which ECU should be written at first - master or slave ? Have You got any problems with writing these EDCs ?

I do this with fgtech and flash 2 files, L and H. One is for slave and one is for master.
After read 2 files and mod it, choose write, Fgtech give you opinion to write it to master and Slave.

No man, but EDC16U1 is know about slow read and write.
I have genuine CMD, and this tool onyl will read/write is fast in 4 - 5min.

Kess do it about 15 min and fgtech read 40min and write 20min.

I've done a lot of U1 but single, no double EDC. My kess read about 9 min and write about 5-6 min these ECUs.
