Thanks for your offer, the forum does not allow direct links to software. You will need to put the file onto a file server like rapidshare or megaupload. Anyone wanting a copy could then PM you for a link.

just received my clone clip
installed v104 software (it was supplied with v99)
my question is........

to install the drivers do i have to be connected to a Renault vehicle 100%
i ask this because i havent access to one at the moment and when i connect the sonde unit via usb to my pc it only installs 1 driver and 1 light is lit up

also, what is the micro usb cable for in the package it doesnt connect to my pc nor the sonde unit, although it does have 2 usb ports??

so, if i connect to a renault car will it load the necessary drivers?

Yes it will, but you will have to direct it to c:windows/system32/drivers as it will look for them on a d: drive

when you connect the CLIP/sonde/adapter/unit to a renault, all 4 leds should lite up ( 2 green, 2 red)
when this happens, if you have it connected for the 1st time, the pc should self install 5 drivers in total, i can't remmember the names, but i counted the times it pop up a menu.
if you have more than 1 usb port, i would suggest that you unplug the usb connector from the intsaled port and reconnect it to another port, the drivers would then reinstall itself.
restart the laptop and diagnose your car.

which micro usb connector is that? there should be a few cables, the main one would be a usb connecotr from the laptop to CLIP via a usb bf connector, it is the one right in the center of the unit

Hello every body. My name is Daniel I'm coming from france and I'm new in this site.

I wanna now if it is possible to install the renault clip in a traditional computer. I have the can sonda and the V.92. But when I try install the clip the computer tell me not the clip base and he turn off the installation.

Any body can help me to do that please.

I have a problem with a Renault Clip sonde which i bought on ebay: this one

I already tried several Clip versions besides v99 delivered with the sonde.
I tried v76, 89, 99, 104, 105 even with new Win XP Pro SP3 installed. The drivers seem to work because all led's are active and the program detects the sonde.

The program doesn't detect the VIN of the vehicle, in my case a clio sport (CB22).
I can see the CAN led work over the connecting progress, but the ISO led doesn't seem to answer or so.
It always stops at 98% and then CPU usage is at maximum.
When I type the VIN in manually I can't open any of the options, the program doesn' t react...

Has anybody here have an idea what it migtht be?

Did it install the four drivers when you connected to the car. Stopping at 98% could be that it is failing to do the firmware update. These clones can suffer with bad connection to the probe, so check it.
