Auto otosys im600 tablet keymaker anyone seen this??

After one year and many attemptions with many tools I successfuly programed Chevrolete Kalos remote with im608

but the diagnostic level on im608 is a big joke for these money

No diagnostic and codding are joke - these people are crazy - im608 cost around £2000 more than im508 but dont have the functions on 908 that cost £1300

if you want good diagnostic and codding you must buy 908 aditional

today I tried to read airbag DTC on Chevrovet Kalos 2008 - Not possible

I have 4 year old Autel 619 for £80 that can read airbag on this car

yes im508 is good choice for the money but rumors that with im508 you can't do

ok i just got a confirmation from autel that the xp400 can be used with a PC

however there is no autel pc software for it

so they are saying you can use the xp400 with outside software

they did not however tell me if it works with any/all software in particular and didnt even have a recommendation for pc software.......

so i guess itll be up to the guinea pigs out there to find out what works or if it will somehow work with all of them

Without their software this is useles - maybe will work like good programer but who care about this?

Just looked the menu and saw IMMO 4 + MQB AKL

but there is message that this function is pay-per-use

does anyone know how to pay?

Hi guys just found this thread on my Saturday morning browsing. I have the IM608 so far I've been pretty happy with it. Pulls PIN codes from all chysler I have tried thus far and hyundai. GM key programming without 10min wait, ford programming no wait. BMW no issue reading ISN and writing isn to dme and cas3+ as long as it not crypto. Working on figuring that one out currently.

The XP400 does come with Autel software I will attach to post for PC so far has pretty good coverage, had to buy carprog clone for odd-ball chysler dash odometer though. PC suite has more coverage then tablet because they update PC before tablet.
So if I plug the xp400 into tablet and run Programmer from menu's it will downgrade the XP400 firmware to run, then plugged back into PC it will update firmware. Kinda odd but firmware changes are fast.

If someone wants to share with me software they think will work with the XP400 please do. This is my first programmer aside from the Maxisys Elite and J2534 Elite, both great tools. I still use the Elite for most diag work because it's updated for free still after 3+ years and has no issues. Shop tools get dirty and I like to keep the IM608 on work bench for electrical stuff. I have used the IM608 for diag work just to check functionality, on everything I've done so far the IM608 had the exact same functions and usage as the elite, but with a different user interface. I've been using the Elite for so long that I perfer it because the interface is comfortable, but the interface on the IM608 might actually be more efficient depending on your preferences.

Also Autel support has been fantastic here in the USA. Have to give a shout out to them because I think they deserve it. I emailed them for support and they asked for a number to reach me at and called me spent some time on the phone being helpful and excited to help. I was really surprised so shout out to them.

Have you use it on Mercedes or VW ? How about the imulator for toyota /Lexus smart key does work?

I have the g-box2 as well. I told the owner of the shop I work at if he comes across any Mercedes with immo problems at the sale to buy them. Hopefully I can report back on that as soon as possible
I dont have the simulator, that will be my next purchase but I do not come across much toyota / lexus
